Diagnose before quoting
A price given before the fault is understood is a guess dressed as a quote. We find out what is actually wrong first, and we tell you what we found even if you then take the job elsewhere.
PK Tech Gurus Ltd was incorporated in England and Wales on 25 January 2025 to do something the market keeps splitting in two: give organisations honest technology advice, and then be the ones who physically make it work.
Ask a consultancy to look at your systems and you will get a deck. Ask a repair shop to fix a machine and you will get a machine back. Neither knows what the other saw. The organisation in the middle — six people, forty people, a busy household — ends up as the translation layer between them, and things fall through the gap: the drive nobody backed up, the laptop replaced a month before its licence renewal, the "quick fix" that quietly undid a security setting.
We registered PK Tech Gurus with all three activities on the record — IT consultancy, repair of computers and peripheral equipment, and other IT services — because that gap is the actual problem. When the person writing the recommendation is the same person who will open the case, the recommendation changes. It gets shorter, cheaper and more specific.
We are a young company and we do not pretend otherwise. What we offer instead of a long client list is a way of working that is easy to check: written findings, fixed prices, no commission on anything we recommend, and a clear answer when the honest answer is "you do not need us for this".
None of these are difficult. They are simply the things that get quietly dropped when a job is priced too tightly or sold too hard.
A price given before the fault is understood is a guess dressed as a quote. We find out what is actually wrong first, and we tell you what we found even if you then take the job elsewhere.
No commissions, rebates or reseller margins on the hardware, software or cloud services we recommend. Our advice has to survive on being right, because it earns nothing on being convenient.
Where a repair is safe, economic and genuinely extends useful life, that is what we recommend — and where it is not, we will tell you plainly rather than take the labour.
Every report, quote and job record is written to be read by the person paying for it. If a sentence needs a glossary, it needs rewriting.
We touch only what the job requires, we do not retain copies beyond the work, and we hand over credentials, licences and documentation without being asked. Nothing is held hostage.
Every job ends with a short written note of what changed and why — so the next person to look at the system, whether that is us or not, is not starting from zero.
PK Tech Gurus is directed and wholly owned by Niaz Javaid Khwaja, who is also the person with significant control of the company as recorded at Companies House. There is no account manager between you and the person accountable for the work.
That structure has a practical consequence: an owner-operator cannot afford a reputation for over-selling, over-promising or vanishing after invoicing. The incentives point the same way as your interests, which is not always true of larger providers.
Everything below is filed with Companies House and publicly verifiable. We publish it here so that anyone considering working with us can check who they are dealing with before they send a device or a deposit.
